I was raised between two languages and two landscapes long before I chose hospitality as a profession. French by birth, Italian by heritage, I grew up moving between the quiet elegance of the French Riviera and the alpine grandeur of the Dolomites — two worlds that, in their own way, share the same instinct for beauty, discretion and welcome. Today I work fluently in French, Italian and English, and that fluency is not only linguistic: it is the ability to move naturally between cultures, and to understand what a client truly needs before they have to ask.
My great-grandfather, Romeo Manaigo, and his wife Filomena built and expanded the Hotel Miramonti in Cortina d'Ampezzo — for decades, one of the most storied addresses in the Italian Alps, host to European aristocracy, artists and travellers from around the world. That instinct for hospitality was passed to my father, Roger, and then to me: elegance is not about visible luxury, but about the quality of a relationship, the discretion of a gesture, and the pleasure of anticipating what someone needs before they ask for it.
After seventeen years in the United States — as a personal shopper and VIP assistant in Los Angeles and Miami, where I was named Nordstrom's #1 salesperson — I returned to luxury hospitality, first as Senior Concierge & Luxury Experience Manager in Cortina d'Ampezzo, then, since 2020, at the five-star Faloria Mountain Spa Resort. Twenty-five years serving a demanding international clientele taught me one thing above all: true luxury is never generic. It is built one relationship at a time.
Today, through Manaigo Concierge, I bring that same standard to Menton, Monaco and the wider French Riviera — private driving, personal concierge services, bespoke shopping and events, all built on twenty-five years of relationships rather than directories. Alongside my concierge work, I stay close to two things that shaped me long before I had a career: wine and painting. I act as a trade agent for established Italian and French wine estates, supplying wine and prosecco to importers, hotels and shipping companies — a quiet nod to the conviviality at the heart of Italian life. I also paint, in oil, the landscapes that mean the most to me: the Dolomites and the Mediterranean. My original works and fine art prints are available on my gallery — a more personal, artistic extension of the same sensibility I bring to hospitality: attention, patience, and an eye for what makes a place worth remembering.
